PDS Tech is currently looking for Test Technicians for our client who develops automotive LiDAR sensors for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV) in Redmond, WA. Long Term Contract Assignment - 1st Shift - $30-40/Hr DOE - AA and 5+ years’ experienceJob Summary:Our client has an immediate (6) month contract opportunity with an option to extend for a Test Technician.
You will work directly with Electrical, Firmware, RTL, Mechanical, Optical, MEMS and System engineering teams.
This position is at our Redmond facility and will provide support for measurement, calibration, test and troubleshooting of laser based ranging system.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, Conduct, and document results of calibration procedures on assembled systems
- Set up, Conduct, and document results of functional tests of systems and subassemblies
- Provide Feedback for test procedure development and communicate with engineers when identifying failures and initial analysis

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Ability to visually evaluate system performance as part of calibration and testing process
- Experience following written procedures
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills, ability to understand complex systems and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Experience with standard electrical test equipment; e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies
Required Experience:
- Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or related field
- 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
