Avionics Specialist for Displays System Development

Basic work scope is to develop and finalize aircraft T/C design, compliant to all applicable regulatory requirements, and produce necessary documents. Ideal candidate should have at least 10 years’ experience on commercial or business aircraft, and be proficient with Aircraft Avionics Display system and familiar with following activities:
- Electronic Checklist function and related database update process
- Human Factors
- Displays system aircraft operation
(1)  This activity includes:
a.  Provides engineering oversight and/or dispositions of the system functionality for the production build. 
b.  Contributes to planning, coordinating and executing important engineering activities with team members, other groups within company, and suppliers
c.  Prepares and reviews necessary documents such as, but not limited to: ground and flight test procedures, system level requirements, equipment specifications, electrical interface control documents, wiring diagrams, etc.
d.  Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues. 
e.  Coordination with Japanese authority (JCAB) for the certification requirements pertinent to the systems.
f.   Provides specialized technical assistance to team members.
g.  Anticipates and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities. 
h.  Is able to balance technical activities with cost and schedule.
i.   Works under limited supervision; work should only be required to be reviewed for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives.
(2)  Each Specialist is mandated to meet the schedule by resolving problems and mitigating risk.
Coordinate Interaction with other stakeholders (etc. PMO, SCM, and other engineering teams )
(3)  All tasks required to perform above activities are considered within work scope; initiating/ reviewing related documents, discussion with people concerned both within company and partners.
