PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Right of Way Specialist in Centennial, CO.  

List of Duties/Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Right of Way Specialist will lead the Right of Way staff in the facilitation of land acquisitions, negotiations, property research, titles and surveys.
  • This includes permitting activities, construction coordination, and restoration on Right of Way projects in a variety of locations. 
  • Experience in utility industry and electric transmission lines preferred.
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and establishing critical project objectives.
  • Assist client with benchmarking project deliverables.
  • Lead Right of Way team in analyzing, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses for small to medium sized projects.
  • Manage team efforts including database management, meetings, and reports.
  • Lead all Right of Way staff to meet project deliverables.
  • Manage the preparation of presentations for public involvement meetings.
  • Initiate and lead contract preparation and negotiations.
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and establishing critical project objectives.
  • Manage marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.
  • Train and mentor staff.
  • Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Candidate needs to be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience in utility industry and electric transmission lines preferred.
  • SR/WA designation from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).
  • Minimum 8 years related experience.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • Prior Right of Way acquisition, relocation, and eminent domain experience required, preferably in a consulting firm.
  • Expert ability to interpret title and appraisal reports and land surveys required.
  • Expert knowledge of general real estate law.
  • Expert knowledge of real estate title work.
  • Expert oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience presenting in public meetings.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with contractors, co-workers and other professionals.
  • Expert in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
