Primary Purpose:
Integrated into client team convert business opportunity and project intention into fully scoped staffed and estimated capital project.  Manage project to meeting cost, scope, benefit, timeline as agree while also engaging the plant team in design and outcome.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience in on site project management, packaged goods, consumer products environment.
  • Lead efforts to finalizing contractor, material vendor.
  • Guide team from constructability issue during design phase.
  • Monitoring project with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, to ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Coordinate meeting with contractor for review of progress and site issue.
  • Attending meeting with client for discussing progress of project.
  • Monitoring Progress with respect to schedule.
  • Check & certify contractor invoices
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages of development. 
  • Update all the stake holders regarding site status through regular progress updates
  • Perform Active Change Management towards the client or contractors in terms of contract deviations
  • Developing and managing equipment changes needed to deliver product at desired quality and throughput.
  • Vendor Management and Punch list management
  • Actively maintain a continuous improvement mindset, suggesting and driving improvements related to efficiency, production, automation and/or equipment design, and downtime elimination
  • Actively interact with all levels of the team ensuring a smooth transition from construction through to full scale operations.
  • Provide support to selected site
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Qualities and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years’ experience
  • Good communication and management skills
  • Be organized and structured in his works
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience desirable
  • Self-management, self-coaching, skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work cross functionally with all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative with a win-win mindset and committed to team success.
  • Good listener, actively seeking to gather input and understand plant needs
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • High level of ownership and initiative
  • Internally motivated, goal driven, biased toward action.
  • Communicates in timely, honest, candid, direct, and concise manager in all environments
  • Consideration given to those who speak Spanish and / or Indian dialect
