PDS Tech, a leader in Engineering Services for Aerospace is recruiting a team of 5 Material Handlers for a project with a World Leader in Aircraft Cabin Interior products.
The main areas of responsibility is to ensure quality conformance, inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through consistency, security, cycle counting, and various audits
  • Ability to perform all MH2 essential job functions and competencies
  • Provide critical inspection support of incoming materials to ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and FAR Part 21 as applicable
  • Shipping Domestic and international
  • Advanced M3 transactions and research
  • Perform other inventory management responsibilities as assigned
  • Ability to prioritize work based on business need
Ideal candidate is: 
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • 1 to 5+ years’ experience shipping/receiving
  • 1-year data entry or comparable experience
  • Forklift certified
  • Must be able to effectively control and manipulate various pneumatic and hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pliers.
  • Must be able to safely operate a power hand saw.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in interpreting MSDS and hazard warning labels.
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Must have current certification or recent certification as a forklift operator.
  • Must have a sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements.
  • Able to work within the time constraints dictated by the company’s agreement to customer requests.
  • Must know how to read and use a tape measure.
  • Able to self-inspect personal work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Must meet or exceed current training requirements.
  • Available to assist in other areas of the company, as directed by supervisor.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English in order to safely and accurately follow all processes.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge/usage
  • Thorough experience in part tracking system (ex: Royal IV)
  • Knowledge of MRP systems
  • warehouse environment-manufacturing and/or aerospace experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Good excel usage/knowledge
  • Actively participates in implementation and maintenance of key quality principles, lean manufacturing, and 5S programs
  • Associates or higher education
