PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance
•Bachelor's Degree or higher education
•Experience with C++ design, coding and test
•Experience working in an Agile Environment utilizing tools like Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
•Establish a requirements baseline including analysis, derivation, allocation, and traceability of requirements and interfaces, including external systems and organizations
•Experience with requirements management and test process management (TMP) including the use of tools like Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
•Experience identifying, performing and review design decisions, conducting trade studies and architecture improvements
•Experience decomposing complex requirements into executable discrete user stories
•Experience working with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo Enterprise Architecture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance
•Experience establishing and supporting system level management and interfaces
•Experience with software testing at different levels including component, configuration item, subsystem, integration/system, and acceptance testing
•Experience working with system components for satellites and ground systems
•Experience with Linux operating system
•Experience working in DevSecOps or DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environments (CI/CD)
Qualifications
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
