PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking  Principal Semiconductor Engineer in Clearwater, FL
Help us create the world’s most advanced systems with your embedded processing and computer architecture skills for our global space-based electronics for human based or satellite systems, sensors and navigation systems for missiles and interceptors, and a range of aviation safety, cockpit, engine control, and connectivity products and services.
In this visible, technical role, you will design, verify, integrate and test the FPGA/ASIC solutions that enable Aerospace’s products. You will be responsible for coding, running simulations, synthesis, creating test benches, and preparation of documentation. You will work closely with world class hardware and software engineers during planning, requirements and architecture, design, test and integration phases.
Key Responsibilities
• Build Requirements, Design and Simulation
• Conduct Code Synthesis
• Integration and Test Support
• Provide Customer Support
• Prepare Documentation
• Experience in ASIC/FPGA development and verification
• Good VHDL or Verilog working knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements

• Simulink experience, MATLAB experience
• Familiar with Xilinx tools
• Good VHDL or Verilog working knowledge
• Professional knowledge of design tools: simulators, STA tools, synthesis, etc.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong computer and web navigation skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
• Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
