Description
You will work as a Flight Controls Expert within the Flight Controls Team with a primary focus on the Primary Flight Controls. This will include interfacing with other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the Primary Flight Controls Development and Certification.

Scope of Work:
1.     The candidate will work as a team member of the Flight Control Systems Group, primarily working with the Primary Flight Controls team.
2.     Basic work scope is to develop and finalize aircraft T/C design, compliant to all applicable Requirements.
3.     This activity includes;
A)    Evaluating the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance of the Fly-by-Wire Primary Flight Control System as required by the airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA.
B)    Conducting verification and showing-compliance activities, such as Design Reviews, Inspections, Analysis, etc.
C)    Conducting Tests, witnessing tests and creating test reports.
D)    Work with the other team members to identify and escalate aircraft and program certification Issues to leadership and the company certification office as needed.
E)    Review certification documents (including CPs, compliance reports, and IP/CRI/CAI positions,  as an independent checker to ensure quality of company certification products, prior to regulatory review.
F)     Support alignment of company proposals to globally accepted standards for certification and compliance.
G)    Conducting coordination with related parties such as JCAB, FAA and EASA, related teams in company, Customers, and Suppliers etc. with respect to design and certification activities, including preparation of coordination materials.
H)    Managing schedule of certification activities with related personnel.

The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers maybe requested to travel or relocate to Seattle or Moses Lake (Washington State, USA) where aircraft flight testing is performed.
 
Qualifications
Expected Education / Experience:
 
-      Working experience in commercial aerospace
-      10 or more years of experience as Compliance Engineer for Flight Controls System
-      Good communication skills
