Secondary Flight Control System Compliance Engineer

You will work as a Flight Controls Expert within the Flight Controls Team with a primary focus on the Secondary Flight Controls. This will include interfacing with other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the Secondary Flight Controls Development and Certification. 

Scope of Work:
1.     The candidate will work as a team member of the Flight Control Systems Group, primarily working with the Secondary Flight Controls team.
2.     Basic work scope is to develop and finalize aircraft T/C design, compliant to all applicable Requirements. 
3.     This activity includes;
A)    Evaluating the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance of the Secondary Flight Control Systems as required by the airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA. 
B)    Conducting verification and showing-compliance activities, such as Design Reviews, Inspections, Analysis, etc.
C)    Conducting Tests, witnessing tests and creating test reports.
D)    Work with the other team members to identify and escalate aircraft and program certification Issues to leadership and the company certification office as needed.
E)    Review certification documents (including CPs, compliance reports, and IP/CRI/CAI positions,  as an independent checker to ensure quality of company certification products, prior to regulatory review.
F)     Support alignment of company proposals to globally accepted standards for certification and compliance

The primary work location will be in Nagoya, Japan. However, engineers maybe requested to travel or relocate to Seattle or Moses Lake (Washington State, USA) where aircraft flight testing is performed. 
Expected Education / Experience:
-      Working experience in commercial aerospace
-      10 or more years of experience as Compliance Engineer for Secondary Flight Controls System
-      Good communication skills
