PDS Tech, INC. is seeking a HR Data Entry Processor in Columbus, MS.

  • Responsible for completing work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented and have previous experience with Data Entry. 
  • This position will be working with the Human Resources team to input data into the HR information systems (HRIS).

You'll be responsible for:

  • Entering data into the ADP database
  • Typing accuracy is important. 

To qualify for this position you MUST have:

  • 2+ years of recent word processing / data entry clerk experience.
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per minute and accurate, fast data entry & 10-key skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word.
  • Able to quickly grasp the flow of a document and perform data input with context and technical definition support.
  • The ability to prioritize & multitask.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • You must be a dependable, responsible team-player with great integrity!.\
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in database entry into an HRIS is strongly preferred.

Citizenship:  Authorized to Work in the US.

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite: must be onsite at least 100% of the time to work with team, vendors and internal customers.
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, and reports.
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on flight line and helipads including safety warnings or alarms.
  • Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
  • Equipment Operation:  Able to use personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, marketing materials, electronic equipment up to 20lbs.
  • Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, marketing materials, electronic equipment up to 20lbs.
  • Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
  • Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
  • Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices and for long periods during trade shows.
  • Travel:  None
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
