Maintenance Supervisor

Supervises the maintenance department to assure the maximum operating efficiency of building, grounds, facilities, machinery and related equipment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintains required records and insures compliance with the preventative maintenance program.
  • Supervises electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, pipefitting, carpentry and janitorial activities and assures presence of all needed personnel, materials, tools and equipment to conform to maintenance needs.
  • Sets up and maintains an inventory of all spare part and supplies required to maintain all Company equipment needs.
  • Maintains close support to the Plant Engineer providing reports of shift activities and calling attention to any unresolved problems.
  • Enforces safety regulations.
  • Supervises from 10 to 20 personnel in the maintenance department.

Education and Experience


  • 6-9 years with BA or BS preferred; 4-7 years with MBA.
